2026 The “53rd Anniversary” Tour Continues
Let Piper Road Spring Band enhance your special event while they celebrate fifty+ years of playing their unique style of music. Two of the present members, Bob and Kangaroo were present when the first phone call from Mitchell’s Bar was directed to their farmhouse, also known as the Fiend’s Club. The owner of Mitchell’s was in a predicament; the bar was packed and the jukebox had just broken down.Piper Road Spring Band saved the evening by playing acoustically to the musically starved crowd. That’s pretty much how the last forty years got started. With Brian, Mark, Mike Piper Road Spring Band stands ready, instruments tuned, to respond to the next musical emergency.
Piper Road Spring Band (PRSB) was nominated by the National Bluegrass Music Industry awards for the Best Old-Time String Band and have won the Wisconsin Area Music Industry (WAMI) award for the Best Bluegrass Artist four times.
